bwallet Launches in-App feature for Royal Humanitarian Foundation Donations

bwallet, the Kingdom of Bahrain’s leading digital mobile wallet, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) to allow users to donate to the Foundation’s various initiatives supporting orphans, widows, the elderly, people with special needs, and disadvantaged families and individuals in the Kingdom – all via the bwallet app. This agreement included donations via bwallet to the recent “Feena Khair” Campaign which was part of national efforts to mitigate the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), and all future RHF initiatives.
 
bwallet users who wish to donate to any Royal Humanitarian Foundation initiative can do so from within the bwallet app by simply clicking on “pay to merchant” and typing in the dedicated phone number for the Royal Humanitarian Foundation 30123123 along with the desired contribution amount to complete the transaction.

RHF Secretary General Dr. Mustafa Al Sayed stated that this cooperation stems from the sense of community and partnership which is prevalent across many entities and individuals in Bahrain. The Feena Khair campaign was led by HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, and followed the directives of the Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian and Youth Affairs, National Security Advisor and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF), HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, RHF Secretary General. This campaign saw contributions and support from Bahraini citizens, residents, institutions, and companies all contributing to the national efforts to tackle the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and manage its impact in Bahrain. Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayed added that this partnership with AFS is in keeping with the company’s longstanding history of corporate social responsibility and ongoing efforts to support humanitarian work in the Kingdom of Bahrain which include supporting families in need.
