bwallet ties up with Solidarity Bahrain

Manama, Bahrain –28 August 2018 - In a first of its kind, Bahrain’s leading mobile wallet, bwallet, has tied up with Solidarity Bahrain B.S.C., one of the largest insurance companies in Bahrain and a subsidiary of Solidarity Group Holding, to allow its users to purchase insurance through their mobile. Solidarity is the first insurance company on board the bwallet ecosystem and it opens up an opportunity for bwallet customers to pay for their insurance cover securely, effortlessly, seamlessly and more importantly cashlessly at any of Solidarity offices in Bahrain. This is a big step in enabling mobile payments allowing purchase of consumer facing financial assets by bwallet.
bwallet is the first digital wallet to provide peer-to-peer money transfer and was launched earlier this year by AFS, the region’s leading FinTech enabler, in partnership with Batelco, Bahrain’s leading digital solutions provider. Customers can simply scan a QR code for seamless insurance transactions and enjoy secure cashless payments with exclusive benefits through their mobile phones.
