bwallet signed up with another partner, BMMI, a diversified retail and distribution, logistics, hospitality and contract services and supply group, to enable cashless payments at one of their leading consumer facing brands, Alosra supermarket.
With seven stores across Bahrain and two in Saudi Arabia, Alosra supermarket is a leading high-end grocery retailer that has been a true lifestyle partner to its customers since 1987. Alosra patrons in Bahrain will soon be able to pay for their purchases without cash, with the ability to use bwallet instead. This new initiative will help provide an advanced and convenient way of purchasing.
bwallet is the first digital wallet to provide peer-to-peer money transfer and was launched earlier this year by AFS, the region’s leading FinTech enabler, in partnership with Batelco, Bahrain’s leading digital solutions provider. Customers can simply scan a QR code for seamless merchant transactions and enjoy secure cashless payments with exclusive benefits through their mobile phones.
